Programmable DC Electronic Loads
8500 Series, Model 8500
The 8500 series Programmable DC Electronic Loads can be used for testing and evaluating a variety of DC power sources. Their wide operating ranges of up to 500 V and 240 A, flexible operating modes and excellent measurement accuracy make the 8500 series well suited for characterizing DC Power supplies, DC-DC Converters, batteries, fuel cells and solar cells
The loads can operate in CC, CV, CR or CP mode while voltage/current or resistance/power values are measured and displayed in real time. Load terminals are isolated and floating. Over temperature, over power, over voltage, over current and reverse polarity protection will help protect your valuable prototype and circuits.
The 8600 Series programmable DC electronic loads provide the performance of modular system DC electronic loads in a compact benchtop form factor. With fast transient operation speeds up to 25 kHz, and high 16-bit measurement resolution and accuracy, these DC loads can be used for testing and evaluating a variety of DC sources such as DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays.
The DC electronic loads can operate in constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CW) mode. The instrument provides flexible triggering capabilities, analog current control and monitoring, and standard USB (USBTMC-compliant), GPIB, or RS-232 serial interfaces for remote communication.

MDL DC Electronic Loads
The MDL Series is a multi-channel modular programmable electronic load system. Seven different modules of programmable DC loads ranging in power from 200 W to 600 W provide users the flexibility to test a wide range of power sources from multi-output AC/DC power supplies to batteries, fuel cells, and photovoltaic arrays.
The mainframe has four slots that can be configured with any assortment of the modules up to 2400 W (up to 4800 W with mainframe extension). The high-performance electronic load modules of the MDL Series are capable of operating in constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), constant power (CW), and constant impedance (CZ) mode, which uses DSP technology to simulate non-linear loads and realistic loading behavior.
The 9170/9180 series programmable DC power supplies deliver clean, stable and precise output power due to the supplies’ exceptionally low ripple and noise, low temperature coefficient, excellent regulation and fast transient response time characteristics.
These power supplies offer SCPI IEEE488.2 compliant USB (standard), RS232, RS485, GPIB and LAN interfaces, combined with front and rear panel output and remote sense terminals to facilitate test system development and integration. The LAN interface includes a built-in web server that allows users to configure, control, or monitor basic power supply settings.
In addition to a full numerical keypad for convenient data entry, this series also provides unique features not typically found in comparable power sources, such as LED test modes, modular interface card slots, automatic range selection, and an optional 8-bit bidirectional digital I/O interface.

The QL Series II is the latest and highest performance linear regulated power supply series from TTi.
Single and triple output models are available. Each model can be specified with or without digital remote control interfaces.
Each main output provides more than 100 watts of power, and dual range capability offers higher currents at lower voltages.
New features include an enhanced auxiliary output with fully variable voltage and higher current capability on T models, and an LXI compliant LAN interface on all P models.
The CPX Series of laboratory DC power supplies is one of Aim-TTi’s most successful product lines. Tens of thousands of CPX models are in service across the world.
PowerFlex regulation allows them to provide higher currents at lower voltages enabling the power to be tailored to suit a wider variety of applications.
The range includes single and dual output models with a total power ranging from 360 watts up to 840 watts.

The TGP3100 Series are true pulse generators using all digital techniques. They can replicate the capabilities of traditional pulse generators whilst adding many additional facilities such as pulse modulations.As well as operating as pulse generators, the instruments can act as high performance noise generators and as function/arbitrary generators – making them truly universal waveform generators.

Handheld RF Spectrum Analyzers 1.3GHz Spectrum Analyzer
The PSA Series II is unlike any other RF spectrum analyzer. It builds upon the success of the PSA-T series in offering a lightweight and truly handheld instrument that incorporates an extensive feature set. An improved user interface is combined with many new hardware and software features and a ruggedized casing.
Additional DC Bias Units can be added in parallel such that with five units connected in parallel it is possible to set bias currents up to a maximum of 125 A DC. For extended frequency, up to 3 MHz, 50A is available when two 3265BQs are used.
5A, 10A and 20A models are available which may be connected in parallel to give up to five times the maximum rated DC bias current.
The instruments have a number of safety and protection features including a safety interlock system to protect the user against back EMFs. It is also fully protected against over temperature, excess voltage drop and sense lead failure.
The ESA-E Series spectrum analyzers are tested to ensure they will meet their warranted performance. Unless otherwise stated, all specifications are valid over 0 to 55 °C. Supplemental characteristics, shown in italics, are intended to provide additional information that is useful in using the instrument. These typical (expected) or nominal performance parameters are not warranted but represent performance that 80 percent of the units tested exhibit with 95 percent confidence at room temperature (20 to 30 °C). This data sheet is intended as a quick reference to ESA-E spectrum analyzer specifications, and is by no means complete.
